Lauren & Warren

A mutual friend introduced us.
Lauren was not interested, but Warren was persistent.
Several months later...
we attended that same friend's birthday party.
Everything changed, and we fell in love.

That was over eleven years ago!
We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

I took a trip to New York last December, and it was then that Warren worked out his plan.

When I returned, Warren suggested we go to the
Museum of Fine Arts to see a special exhibit with our friends.

He asked me to take a few photos in front of one particular painting....
Completely unaware of what he had in store, I mentioned that I was not too fond of that artist.

Always quick on his feet, Warren suggested we move on,
and in just a few minutes he found exactly the right location for his proposal (which turned out to be a painting I loved).

My handsome guy looked into my eyes, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him.

He placed that beautiful ring on my finger, and I remember hearing myself saying "oh my god" over and over.

What made his proposal so special was the fact that it was truly a complete surprise. Warren made sure I knew nothing of his intention that day...he thought of every single detail, and made sure we were in front of a beautiful piece of art that I loved.

At that very moment, it felt like we were beginning a new chapter in our lives.  It was the perfect proposal.
